Jimmy Burns studied Art in London, Leeds and Dublin.  He lives in Sandyford.

He is the author of  'Art History and Appreciation' (2 editions), and 'Practical Art', both published by S & C S.
He has illustrated many books and has had illustrations in periodicals over the years including Magill, In Dublin, U Magazine, Business and Finance, The Irish Press, The Farmers' Journal, The Sunday Journal........etc.
